Beaver's History

Founded in 1856 by Mormon pioneers, Beaver quickly became a key stop on the frontier. Known for its beautiful cream-colored brick buildings and the historic Beaver Courthouse (built 1882), the town preserves its pioneer heritage while serving as gateway to outdoor recreation.

Notable: Inventor of television Philo T. Farnsworth spent part of his childhood here.
